Red Herring is a game. We keep the smallest amount of data needed to run it, and we do not sell any of it.

Playing as a guest

A random ID is stored in your browser so we can remember today's progress and your streak on that device. It is not tied to your name or email. Clearing your browser data clears it.

With an account

We store your email address, your case results, the questions you asked in a case, and your streak, so your history follows you between devices.

Subscriptions

Payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your card details — only whether your subscription is active.

Deleting your data

Ask us from the account page and we will delete your account and case history. Guest data can be removed by clearing your browser storage.
